Join Katrina from Art and Rhyme for a relaxed and inspiring workshop discovering the joy of collage making !
The definition of a collage is
“Collage is an artistic technique that involves assembling various materials such as paper, fabric, photographs and found objects to create a new , cohesive artwork “
In this 3 hour session, you’ll explore the art of collage and be able to use a rich variety of colourful papers, card , cut out shapes and craft embellishments plus all the tools you need - all provided from Katrina’s large craft cupboards !
You are also welcome to bring any of your own items and images to include
You will be able to create and take home your own handmade card, poster, bunting , bookmark ,gift tags or decorations !
With the theme of Christmas - think holly and ivy , snow , robins , Father Christmas , snowmen , reindeer and Christmas trees and many more colours and images inspired by this specail time of year
This workshop is suitable for all abilities and is suitable for adults and children aged 5+ (children must be accompanied by an adult).
The thing that I love about collage is that you don’t need any “artistic skill” as such so don’t be afraid to come and join in - it is always quite magical how things come together from all the colourful materials
