Join Katrina from Art and Rhyme for a relaxed and inspiring workshop discovering the joy of collage making !
The definition of a collage is
“Collage is an artistic technique that involves assembling various materials such as paper, fabric, photographs and found objects to create a new , cohesive artwork “
In this 3 hour session, you’ll explore the art of collage and be able to use a rich variety of colourful papers, card , cut out shapes and craft embellishments plus all the tools you need - all provided from Katrina’s large craft cupboards ! You are also welcome to bring any of your own items and images to include
You will be able to create and take home your own handmade card, poster, bunting , bookmark, gift tags or decorations !
With the theme of Autumn -think of all the beautiful colours of the season , falling leaves and swirling winds , early frosts and blue skies and all the memories of this special time of year !
This workshop is suitable for all abilities and is suitable for adults and children aged 5+ (children must be accompanied by an adult).
The thing that I love about collage is that you don’t need any “artistic skill” as such so don’t be afraid to come and join in - it is always quite magical how things come together from all the colourful materials
