Join Katrina from Art and Rhyme for a relaxed and inspiring Christmas workshop where we will explore the wonderful world of collage creating and using upcycled materials to make new art
In this 2 and half hour session- you’ll learn about some of the techniques and tools that can be used to create collages as well as listen to some poetry inspired by the theme of Christmas to get thinking about the imagery and feelings associated with this wonderful time of the year
With the theme of Christmas - think holly and ivy , snow , robins , Father Christmas , snowmen , reindeer and Christmas trees and many more colours and images inspired by this special time of year
You’ll then bring your ideas to life by designing a personalised collage card or bunting and decorations to take home.
This workshop is suitable for all abilities. This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 5+ (children must be accompanied by an adult).
All materials and tools are provided from Katrina’s well-stocked craft collection allowing you to use a rich selection of colourful papers and materials
However, you’re also very welcome to bring along your own materials such as newspaper clippings, magazines, old postcards or even old cards you have to make your creation even more personal.
And especially for this session also - we will be having a go at
writing a community poem together to express
our feelings about the festive period
and its meaning -
