This collage artwork print card is a print of an original A3 collage artwork I created and the main image is surrounded by a beautiful matching border on this card.
Each of my artworks are lovingly created from a patchwork of coloured and patterned papers carefully created and printed in my home studio in Richmond North Yorkshire
Additionally I use a wide range of craft punches to add shapes to the image as well as a cornucopia of materials I have gathered together over time
My designs are inspired by the words of my original poems which are often based on themes of nature, the seasons and the beautiful colours and sight associated with them The words of my poems are cleverly woven into the design making a completely unique item and with this card the poem is also printed on the back
This collage makes full use of the wonderful colours and images of Autumn – with leaves in bright oranges and reds surrounding the central figure of a fox . My dad who is also an artist helped me with the image of the fox – drawing in the leaves within its fur as the poem imagines how the colours of a fox match the Autumn hues.

The fox sleeps peacefully
The colours of Autumn
Within its fur
Blended quietly
Amongst the fallen leaves
Nobly invisible
Only magic glancing sights
Or a distant haunting call
And perhaps
A midnight garden visitor
For a lucky few
