Four Seasons - World Lady Goddess- Autumn - Collage Artwork - A4 Print

£12.50

This is a print of an original piece of collage artwork – each of my artworks are lovingly created from a patchwork of coloured and patterned papers carefully created in my home studio in Richmond North Yorkshire

Additionally I use a wide range of craft punches to add shapes to the image as well as a cornucopia of materials I have gathered together over time

My designs are inspired by the words of my original poems which are often based on themes of nature, the seasons and the beautiful colours and sight associated with them  The words of my poems are cleverly woven into the design making a completely unique item

This collage is a return to one of the key themes of my poems – the four seasons and is part of a set of four using the same design but with the different colours of each season . The design is inspired by the themes around the solstice and features a nature goddess figure embracing the Earth – her flowing robes are full of a tree and leaves

This collage reflects the colours of Autumn – shades of deep red, orange and brown  – with a patchwork of patterned paper and maple leaves in the background – all originally cut using my range of craft punches from beautiful patterned papers and with the addition of patterned dots of colour

Here are some lines from my poem subtly woven into the design :

The roadside queued

With trees

Fashioned in Autumn colours

The pine ground

Matching with burnt sienna decay

That which the evergreens cannot become

Even as temporarily their branches

Catch a drift of wind leaves falling

To their embrace

The sun signing

An evening accord

To soften her light

And make gentler scenes

For summer weary eyes

Perfect to bring a touch of poetic inspiration to your home or a lovely unique gift

This design cannot be bought on the high street and by purchasing from me you are supporting a small scale art business in the UK
