This Christmas collage artwork print card is a print of an original A5 collage artwork I created especially for the festive season
Each of my artworks are lovingly created from a patchwork of coloured and patterned papers carefully created and printed in my home studio in Richmond North Yorkshire
Additionally I use a wide range of craft punches to add shapes to the image as well as a cornucopia of materials I have gathered together over time
My Christmas designs are inspired by the words of my original poems which have been written especially to reflect the sounds and sights as well as the feelings associated with this special time of year – with a nod to the season of Winter in which Christmas is a central feature .
The words of my poems are cleverly woven into the design making a completely unique item and with this card the poem is also printed on the back
This collage depicts a favourite wild bird associated with Christmas – the beautiful robin ! I created this collage by using multiple pieces of Christmas wrapping paper combined with some decorative Christmas washi tape and added some lines from my poem
The poem depicts the bright song of hope represented by the robin in the cold of Winter

Sweet crimson breast Robin
With your bright friendly melody
Songbirding a Christmas tale
In the pristine blue sky days
Of a frosty sparkle
A flash of light and warmth
Brave amongst the muffled snow
