This collage artwork print card is a print of an original A3 collage artwork I created and the main image is surrounded by a beautiful matching border on this card.
Each of my artworks are lovingly created from a patchwork of coloured and patterned papers carefully created and printed in my home studio in Richmond North Yorkshire
Additionally I use a wide range of craft punches to add shapes to the image as well as a cornucopia of materials I have gathered together over time
My designs are inspired by the words of my original poems which are often based on themes of nature, the seasons and the beautiful colours and sight associated with them The words of my poems are cleverly woven into the design making a completely unique item and with this card the poem is also printed on the back
This collage was created by adding multiple details to the outline of a figure of an angel – her wings are filled with heart shapes that I cut out using a craft punch and her dress has the lines of the poem within the skirt
I like to imagine there are angels in the world surrounding us with love and this sentiment is reflected in the words of the poem

Angels walk quietly in the world
Their love breathes
Alongside our every breath
A silent ferocity of light
That stands all around us
Invisible but ever present
I imagine it
As being enveloped
In an unseen embrace
Of an iridescent golden halo
Of unimaginable beauty
So that at times
My soul is tempted
To burst into flames
Of intense sublime joy
Just to feel itself alive
And loved
