October News Update

Welcome to my newsletter for 7th October 2025 !

As you can see I have a new logo which my Dad kindly helped me design - the tag line of the logo is “A marriage of original poetry and design by Katrina Palmer” - for me this is moving on from my original wording which was simply “Hand made cards” - whilst I am still making cards - I am also moving on into more framed pictures and lately A3 collages and prints . I also wanted to emphasise that at the core of all my work is my original poetry that inspires the designs and is uniquely featured in all my work - each card has my poem printed on the back but also now my design skills have improved immensely - you will find the words of my poems woven into the imagery

Also brand new to Art and Rhyme is a wonderful collaboration with Miss Havishams Book shop in Bedale - I will be doing a poetry reading day there on 1st November plus I have 2 workshops planned there on 3rd and 17th November where you can join me in a collaborative creation of a poem and collage inspired by Christmas as well as make your own card, bookmark and gift tag !
