January 2026 - New Designs!

I may have been a bit quiet here but I was recovering from the exhaustion of way too many markets leading up to Christmas and last year in general ! I have to say that things need to change this year - for me and maybe for others trying to sell genuinely hand made products - markets in general are a struggle and especially in my region - with multiple event organisers and multiple multiple events left right and centre - its a bit too much overload !

So this year - I will be doing far less markets - here is what I am attending for the Spring - I am happy to stick with the Middleton Farmers and Indie market simply because of Naomi’s comittment to quality control - it is great to attend an event with some many other genuine craft makers ! I am also excited to be getting involved in her Rainbow Hippy events is Barnard Castle which will be in line with solstice calendar - I am already digging out my seasonal themed cards and pictures and working with my Dad and the wonderful images he paints of green men and nature spirits - so watch this space !

In this quiet time - I have been inspired to create a whole new range of cards ! I was not expecting to but I have felt very blessed to create something new ! The designs have been building on all the skills I have learnt - both in creating collage images and using Canva to combine the imagery with the words of my poems . If you know my journey - I also have had times of struggle with my mental health - so I wanted to create some cards with a positive message ( without being too cheesy or simplistic !!) So I have created a new range called Positive Poetry Pockets - the pocket refers to a special inside pocket in the card with a pullout postcard to pin up with the design and poem on . I really feel these are the best thing I have ever created and they are live on the website now - how about a Love one for Valentines Day ?

I have also been working on creating large collage artworks last year - they are A3 in size which has given me more space to create an image ! These are also available on my website now - as originals , as A4 prints and also print cards too

So as you can see - a lot going on and a lot of new developments and blessings ! I also have been gifted some great days training in how to make videos online and how to improve my social media - so watch out for that too !
